security
Please try to protect your CS account. Many computer break-ins occur by the attacker first gaining access to a normal account, and then using that to get root or superuser access. Ways to protect your account include:
- use xlock (look for the swirl icon on the dock)
- remember to log out when you leave
- tell local-staff if you lose your prox tag
- choose a good password
- don't share your account with others
- don't access the CS machines from a suspect computer
