Take-Home Tests
To begin your take-home test, you should clone your test repository. The URLs are as follows:
- For the mid-term:
git@github.swarthmore.edu:cs75-s23/test1-<username>
- For the final:
git@github.swarthmore.edu:cs75-s23/test2-<username>
where <username>
is your Swarthmore username. In this repository, you will find a number of markdown files: one for the test and one for each of your responses to the questions.
Test Policies

Due date: The test is due as marked on the schedule. More precisely:
- The mid-term is released on Monday, March 13th and is due at 11:59PM on Thursday, March 23rd.
- The final is released on Thursday, May 4th and is due at 11:59PM on Thursday, May 11th.

The latest commit to the
master
branch of your take-home test’s Git repository by the due date is what will be graded. -
Discussion: You are not permitted to discuss these questions or their answers with anyone. This prohibition includes classmates, other students at Swarthmore, and individuals outside of Swarthmore. Your wording and your ideas must be your own. Using someone else’s ideas or phrasing on these tests is a violation of the academic integrity policy. You may ask your instructor for clarification of (but not help with) these test questions.

Resources: You are permitted to use course and outside resources. Examples of permitted resources include:
- Your course notes
- Lecture videos
- Resources on the course webpage
- Content found on the Internet
If you use any resources other than course notes or lecture videos, cite them in the file containing your response. (This citation requirement includes sites you visited as a result of e.g. web searches for related material.)
