Flight Simulation of Flocking Geese Using Particle Set Animation

Abstract
Using a modified techique of particle systems, one can simulate the
flocking, herding or schooling behavior of animal agregation. Instead
of modelling the group and defining specific paths for each animal,
this technique uses a bottoms up approach to develop animal
agregation. Each animal is treated like a particle object with its own
set of rules. This project is going to look at this technique to
develop a filght simulation of geese flocks.
