The research will explore extending advanced programming models for scalable parallel architectures including GPGPUs. There are open positions for both Spring 2017 and Summer 2017. Candidates pursuing a MS/PhD in computer science, computer engineering or a similar discipline are preferred. The following skill set is desirable for the position: * Knowledge of programming language implementation, GPGPU programming, distributed systems, particularly PGAS models. * Experience with compilers, especially LLVM * Experience with the Chapel programming language model is a plus Research results from internships at AMD Research often appear in reputable conferences.
