Subject: Students/Alumni Familiar with Mobile App Development
To: meeden at cs.swarthmore.edu

Hello Professor Meeden,

Many years ago I sadly had to withdraw from your C++ course as I was having
some difficulties relating to life away from Swarthmore. In the years since
I have occasionally tinkered with various online courses in programming and
completed a concentration in electronic music as part of my doctoral
studies, which involved a fair bit of related work.

About 4 years ago, maybe 5, I had an idea for an app that could help to
combat a significant health and safety problem that has yet to be addressed
in a cost-effective manner. From a technical standpoint, it is something
that can be executed with many current-generation mobile phones, but I am
unable to do the programming because I lack the skill and the time.

Are there any current students or recent alumni that have an interest in
and experience of iOS/Android development who might be well-suited to such
a project?

Kind regards,

Justin Capps '03
