While there are many opportunities to teach English abroad, we're very excited about our program in Namibia, where we have taught for 24 years, and now has a focus on teaching computer skills. Teaching internationally is a chance to gain international work experience and intercultural communication skills, improve language fluency, immerse oneself in a new culture, and consider different career paths before committing to graduate school or full-time employment. Please forward this information to your students who are looking for summer international work and interested in teaching computer skills. WorldTeach <http://www.worldteach.org/>, a non-profit organization that started at Harvard University, partners with the Ministry of Education in Namibia to provide volunteer teachers to fill educational needs that the Ministry has identified. Specifically, our volunteers in Namibia teach English, math, science and computer skills in primary and secondary schools in rural communities. The program departs May 31, 2015 and returns August 8, 2015. The Namibian Ministry of Education has subsidized this program, reducing the volunteer fee to $2,990, which covers the following support items: *Summer volunteers receive:* - Housing (provided by school or host family) - Visa sponsorship - Health & emergency evacuation insurance - Weeklong in-country orientation focused on teacher training, language and cultural immersion, health and safety briefing - Mid-Service Training Conference - End of Service Conference - All meals during entire summer - Transportation between training and placement sites - Support from full time, in-country field staff Read Alumni Reviews from Namibia Volunteers <http://www.kintera.org/TR.asp?a=fjITK1MIKgKXIcOXE&s=[[en_supporter_id]]&m=[[en_MailID2]]> Watch a webinar on summer programs where we spoke with an alum from Namibia <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iAlhSHsGBig> Watch a video from a Namibia Summer volunteer <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jTFAC7GZBl4&index=18&list=PL0Nj1zGK6-XxIzMZb5cNQKnR7UL43FxZD> *Qualifications:* Applicants must be native English speakers, of any nationality.
