My startup (www.BeeLineReader.com) recently won a startup competition at
Stanford and is now looking to add to our development team.

Our products make reading easier and faster by using eye-guiding color
gradients, which draw the reader's eyes across and between lines. These
gradients allow the reader to track more quickly and more easily, and they
have a surprisingly large impact on reading speed (20%-30% for many
readers).

When we launched last year (via Hacker News, where our Show HN post was the
9th most popular in the history of the site), we were covered in Gizmodo,
FastCoDesign, and many other tech sites. The American Optometric
Association has evaluated our technology and is publishing a journal
article describing its benefits for reading and vision. We are currently
revamping our website in advance of this article, and we are planning to
expand our product offerings (currently browser plugins and PDF converter)
in the near future.

We are looking for skilled front-end developers to revamp our plugins and
to create a WordPress plugin and Android app (iOS is already under
development). We are also looking for designers and business development
interns.
