Instead of watching the best progressive technologists run to Silicon
Valley, we want to show there is a key role for them in progressive
organizations and campaigns.

Enter hackFor().

NOI is working to place computer science students, recent graduates, and
new programmers with organizations where they can combine their skills with
their passion for social justice.

*Ready to code for good? Apply now for a hackFor() fellowship.*

*What exactly will fellows be doing?*

Based on interests and skills, fellows will be given a project and a mentor
to help you see it through. Throughout the fellowship, NOI will provide
extra resources such as: community events with other progressive
technologists, opportunities to display your work at NOI Labs events, and
general career skills training (think putting together a resume, how to
interview, public speaking, etc). And this isn't a volunteer gig -- you
will be paid.

*What are we looking for in a fellow?*

*Passionate about social justice or progressive issues. *You want to change
the world with your code and believe in whatever you're hacking for.

*Skills.* In school or recently graduated with a degree in "Computer
Science," "Software Engineering," or whatever the kids (read: colleges) are
calling it these days. If you don't have one of those majors or are not
attending college, but you do have the skills, you should still apply!
We're looking for the know-how, not the diploma.

*Apply now for a hackFor() fellowship -- spaces are limited and filling up
fast.* <http://act.neworganizing.com/go/3556?t=2&akid=2153.19572.DsjzL3>

Thanks,

Jenna

P.S. *We are also hiring for other positions at NOI!
