   Girls Who Code - Apply now for Summer Teaching Opportunity!

   Girls Who Code is on the hunt for smart, inspiring and talented computer
   science instructors and teaching assistants for its 2014 Summer Immersion
   Programs. If you*re passionate about computer science education and want
   to change lives and help close the gender gap in the tech sector, we want
   you.

   With support from industry partners like Twitter, Google, GE, eBay, AT&T,
   Intel, IAC, and Goldman Sachs, Girls Who Code programs work to educate,
   inspire and equip high school girls with the skills and resources to
   pursue opportunities in technology and engineering. In Summer 2014, GWC
   will launch 16 programs inside major tech companies and universities in
   New York, Miami, Boston, Seattle, San Francisco, San Jose, and Palo Alto,
   CA. Throughout the 7-week program, you*ll work with the GWC team to
   provide instruction to a class of 20 motivated students in robotics,
   mobile and web development, and algorithms paired with high-touch
   mentorship by the industry*s top engineers and entrepreneurs.

   The ideal candidate is an empathetic and enthusiastic individual with a BA
   or BS in Computer Science and teaching experience (e.g. classroom
   teaching, tutoring, TAing).  Interested candidates should send a cover
   letter and resume to jobs at girlswhocode.com. The subject of your
   application email should read, *Teacher/[DESIRED LOCATION].* In your cover
   letter, please provide a short response to the following question: *What
   is your favorite ice breaker to play with a group of students, and why?*
