The Technical Support Associate works collaboratively with the Assistant
Director for Public Service and Internships to update and develop the Career
Services website.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops and designs new technical resources, assesses resources to make recommendations, and maintains
content for Career Services web pages and related technology.
o Maintains 4-6 office hours per week (2 days/week).
o Ensures all text and links are up-to-date. Edits text, images and graphics.
o Ensures that all web edits are working properly in various browsers.
o Develops new website content areas.
o Designs new pages and features.
o Evaluates new technical resources for office, including vendor-provided databases.
o Uses technology creatively to enhance our outreach to constituents including students and alumni.
o Provides recommendations on using technology resources to engage students in Career Services programming and services.
o Researches online career resources and provides recommendations to enhance our technical resources for students and alumni.
o Runs reports and analyzes statistics on web usage at the end of each semester, identifying areas that are high traffic, low traffic, and making improvements to the site to draw more traffic.
o Participates in on-going training and weekly meetings with Assistant Director.
o Works collaboratively with Career Services professional and student staff members.
o Assists with other projects as office needs warrant.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Dependability.
- Ability to work 4-6 hours per week.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Creativity and enthusiasm!
- Experience with web editing software, content management systems (Ingeniux) html, xml and Photoshop a plus but not required.
