Website Intern - The College of Physicians of Philadelphia 

Job Description: The College of Physicians of Philadelphia seeks an
intern to aid in code development and editing for the College website,
reporting to the IT Manager via the Communications Department.
Candidates must be able to generate HTML/CSS templates from scratch
based on existing layouts and typeface/style directives. The resulting
templates will be used throughout the College's hightraffic website, for
everything from our worldfamous M?tter Museum to the Historical Medical
Library. Any HTML and CSS developed should follow current best practices
and be cleanly organized and documented. 

The selected candidate will have the opportunity to provide design/style
input before developing templates. Final design decisions will be made
by College personnel in compliance with existing College communications
guidelines. 

Required: Expertise in HTML, CSS, and implementation for crossbrowser
compatibility. Familiarity with javascript libraries such as jQuery is a
plus, as basic javascript elements such as dropdown menus and image
slideshows may be used. 

Hours: Approximately 10 hours/week, flexible, February through June
2012.  Onsite initially with opportunities to work offsite as project
advances. 

Perks: This unpaid position offers handson nonprofit experience. The
selected candidate will receive free admission to the M?tter Museum for
one year.
