Startup Software Company With a Conscience Needs Web Intern Superstar
Are you a current student or recent alum who is a champion web developer? Do
you know server-side code and databases like yosemitebear knows double
rainbows? Do you only want to work for companies who are actually trying to
improve the world, rather than just make a quick buck?

Zindagi (onezindagi.com) is an early-stage startup based in San Francisco
whose goal is to increase financial literacy in middle and high school kids.
We're about to start programming our first product, a budgeting module that
uses game metrics to help motivate kids, and we need some help.

If you are a current student or an alum with some free time, we're looking
for a programmer or two to help us build out the system. The internship will
be unpaid, but will offer you valuable experience working for a small
company on the ground floor.

Star applicants must have knowledge of server-side programming and databases
plus the ability to learn and adapt quickly. The code will be written in
Python using a framework called web2py, as well as Javascript using jQuery.
Communication skills are critical, being in the Bay Area is not.

If interested, contact Zindagi Technology Lead Matt Murphy Garmur '01 at
mattmurphy@alum.swarthmore.edu.
