Web Content Editor
Alderson-Broaddus College seeks applications for a web content editor
position. Reporting to the director of marketing and communications,
the web content editor’s primary responsibility is oversight and
implementation of the College’s web strategy in support of marketing
and enrollment, including social media, mobile website and videography.
Familiarity with CSS, PHP, Perl/CGI scripts, Javascript, and HTML Forms;
reading and writing HTML 4.0 code; Macromedia Dreamweaver; Adobe
Photoshop; InDesign; site and file organization; and browser compatibility
for all platforms. An understanding of Apache, MySQL, Drupal CMS
and web server technologies a plus. Linux and Windows server system
administration experience would be helpful. Must be a personable team-
player who is able to work with flexibility within advancement, enrollment,
and IT environments. May be asked to assist with publications and
events. Required: Bachelor's degree in computer science, marketing,
communications, or related field, with strong writing and web
communication skills, design, and creativity. An affinity for independent,
church-related higher education is important. Applications will be reviewed
until the position is filled. Qualified candidates are encouraged to e-mail
