I'm writing you
after all these years to see if you might be able to help me identify a
student who could assist me with a side project that I'm working on.
Although I am a full-time lawyer, I have recently filed a provisional patent
application for a technology that would leverage perception biases to make
reading on computers, laptops, and tablets easier. I am looking for someone
who is a capable coder and is also interested in psychology. I am hoping
that a multi-faceted Swarthmore student might be interested in (a)
transforming my algorithmic descriptions into a functioning computer program
and (b) using this program to carry out psychology experiments (this
semester or this summer) to verify the positive effects of the technology.
I am willing to pay an attractive wage or stipend.
If you know of any students who might be a good fit, could you please pass
along this email?

Best,
Nick Lum 2004
