Dear computer science students,

I'm writing to tell you about a summer learning
opportunity -- an eight week workshop in
digital sound production. We're looking for
three computer science majors and three music
students who will collaborate to produce
music and theatre sound sequences using digital
audio and MIDI.

If you're chosen for this workshop, you'll
be paid simply to learn and collaborate --
a $400 per week stipend plus $200 per week for
room and board. You would work on the
Wake Forest campus in Winston-Salem. You would also
have a chance to interact with folks from
North Carolina School of the Arts. The
workshop is funded by the National Science
Foundation and lasts from June 2
to July 25. (These dates may be flexible depending
on the students who apply.)

If you'd like to apply, look at
http://www.cs.wfu.edu/~burg/CCLI/ccli.php.
Scroll down the page to where it says
"For Students: Undergraduate Student Summer
Learning Opportunity, Summer 2008". You'll
find more information and a link to the
online application form there. Please fill
out the application, and it will automatically
be emailed to us.
