Dear Professor Keleman,

My name is Sarah and I work with a company called The Daily Jolt, that
runs a network of student run college websites. Each site is run by
students for students, and is a fantastic resource and online community
for college students. Amongst other things, the Jolt sites have event
listings, dining menus, quick links to needed resources, student polls,
a local food guide, daily news, marketplace, job board - the list goes on.

Currently, the Swarthmore Jolt - http://swarthmore.dailyjolt.com - is
looking for a Main Editor and Head of Promotions. At the moment, one of
our interns who's a journalism major here in Boston at Northeastern
University has been maintaining the site, but we'd really love to find
Swarthmore students who'd be interested in adding the experience to his
or her resume, as well as having a great creative outlet to write and
get information out to fellow students. They are paid internships so
the students would be compensated for their work, and they're actually
pretty fun jobs. We've got a great backend system set up so neither the
Main Editor nor the Head of Promotions would need to have any experience
in running web sites, however I'm sure if any of your students were
interested in the editorial position, they'd be excited to know that
there's also opportunity for creating their own pages and doing a little
more than just "running" the site.

If there's any way you can get this internship opportunity out to the
students that would be greatly appreciated. The link to apply is right
on the front of the site, and if there's anything I can do or any more
information I can give you, please don't hesitate to contact me.

I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience!

Thanks,
Sarah Cohan
