Thank you, Matt ====================================================== Bluefin Robotics is looking for Software Engineers un-afraid of getting there hands wet, literally. I have been with Bluefin for 3 years and am planning on moving on, but the experience has been a great one in which I have learned immense amounts about practical robotics, user interface design, networking, and knot tying. Bluefin builds Autonomous Underwater Vehicles for Navy and Commercial applications. The software department at Bluefin is responsible for all aspects of the vehicles software including topside tools for mission planning, vehicle monitoring, and data review as well as onboard code for sensor interfacing, navigation, mission execution and dynamic control of the vehicle. The entire company is about 70 people (~25 engineers, ~10 administrative people, ~35 technicians). The software department is 7 people who all work very closely in a flat organizational structure. Traveling with and operating the vehicles at sea is occasionally required (and is in many ways a perk of the job). I am writing this email from a boat on Boston Harbor for example. If you have any questions or would like to apply, please feel free to email me at matt.fowles@gmail.com Thanks, Matt ----- End forwarded message ----- Charles F.
