Subject: Software Development in New York City

My company, Wireless Generation, is looking to hire new Software Developers,
and
is especially interested in recent graduates from highly intellectual
colleges
like Swarthmore. I can attest to Wireless Generation being a great place to
work
(great salary and benefits, four weeks' time off per year), to my co-workers
being really engaging, intelligent people, the kind I was afraid I wouldn't
be able to find in life-after-Swarthmore, and to New York City as being a
great place to live and work.

We are coordinating with Career Services to make a visit to Swarthmore
sometime
in late October, so keep an eye on the career services lists and Job-Opp.
More
info on the open position below.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email me directly at this
address, .

About Wireless Generation

Wireless Generation is an innovative, New York-based, privately held,
educational software company with satellite offices in Atlanta, Dallas, and
Baltimore. Growing to 190+ employees in about 5 years, Wireless Generation
has
pioneered the use of handheld-to-Web technology in pre-K-6 classrooms for
formative assessment including screening, diagnosis, progress monitoring and
reporting. Its mCLASS software enables educators to conduct early reading and
math assessments on handheld computers and, through sync technology, securely
transfer that data to a secure Web-based reporting system.

Building upon this foundation, Wireless Generation's newest offerings help
educators to put student performance data and analysis at the center of their
instructional programs. These products and services include customizable
graphical reports that give educational leaders unprecedented insight into
instructional needs and effectiveness across their districts; professional
development workshops on data analysis, interpretation and leadership;
instructional guidance linked to student data; and tools for reducing special
education referrals and implementing Response to Intervention (RTI) models.

Wireless Generation continues to transform the way educators collect and use
data, creating a culture of continuous feedback in classrooms that improves
teaching and learning. More information is available on the Web at
www.wirelessgeneration.com.

We need dedicated, enthusiastic, and experienced self-starters who share our
passion for improving the educational system in America and the world.
