Not sure if you're a LOPSA member or not, Jeff, but this might be
interesting for student sysadmins to be involved with.

Oh, and I've got a position open for a low-mid sysadmin, but I've
forgotten the proper mailing list to send it to. jobs@cs?

(That's for our previous position; We're looking for someone a bit more
junior for the current opening.)

Subject: [lopsa-discuss] Sysadmin Days Philadelphia local support committee volunteers needed

[Please pass this along to others who may be interested]

We're looking for people to help give Sysadmin Days in Philadelphia a
local flavor and spread the word.

LOPSA members and friends on the East coast are invited to serve on the
LOPSA Sysadmin Days-Philadelphia local support committee.

The local support committee will assist the organizing committee in
establishing contact with local groups, local vendors, spreading the
word to system administrators in the area, providing logistical support
and volunteer tasks at the event.

Sysadmin Days is a two-day professional training progam for system
administrators to focus on all aspects of systems administation, both
technical and professional. The first Sysadmin Days was in Phoenix, AZ
in November 2006. The second Sysadmin Days will be in Philadelphia in
late May (to get an idea of what Sysadmin Days is, please see the web
pages for the Phoenix event at https://lopsa.org/SysAdminDays-Phoenix)

If you are interested, please subscribe to sys-days-phl-local at this
web site: http://lopsa.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/sys-days-phl-local

If you have any questions, please send them to sysadmindays@lopsa.org

Thanks for you help,
