Tower Research Capital LLC, a quantitative hedge fund manager, is hiring
computer programmers with world class intelligence, good math skills, and
very strong programming skills to help work on our trading infrastructure.

The firm successfully trades a number of different strategies in a variety
of markets. We have an extremely high performance network that processes a
huge amount of financial information in real time. The team here is made up
of an extremely talented group of quantitative financial analysts and
programmers. 

Tower Research Capital is on the cutting edge of quantitative trading, a
lucrative field that provides some of the most challenging math and
engineering problems in the world. A career with Tower is a chance to not
only become expert in this industry, but to shape its future with the
engineers and analysts who are building it from the ground up. 

Job responsibilities include expanding and maintaining our trading
capabilities on various markets around the world. Duties will include:
coding connections to new markets, optimizing the performance of our
systems, maintaining and expanding our databases of financial information,
performing basic systems administration to keep our trading network running,
and building risk management and performance tracking tools. 

Successful candidates will have a degree in math, engineering, or computer
science from a top university. Very strong computer programming skills are
required. Must have solid C++ experience and some Java knowledge. Linux
knowledge is a must and Solaris a plus. Should be familiar with PC hardware.
Basic Linux system administration skills required. Knowledge of Perl,
shell-scripts, DNS, NFS a plus. Must be able to work on multiple tasks in a
fast-paced environment. No finance or economics knowledge required. 

Requirements:

- Degree from a top college or university
- Excellent programming skills
- Excellent math skills
- Brilliant problem-solving skills
- Java and C++ skills
- Fluency in English
- Financial experience not required
