Here are a couple of opportunities. The official Google
note is coming next. All the Swatties mentioned below are
great folks.

Hi Charles,
I'm at Google now (Scott Schwartz pulled me in) and we're
hiring. I'm in the New York office, and we're hiring both here and in
California. It's a great place to work, so if you have any really
bright students, get them to send me a resume. There are also summer
internship opportunities, again both in NY and CA.
Also, my former employer, the Computational Biology Department
at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, is looking for a few
programmers. Probably a bonus if they have some sysadmin skills (though
they wouldn't be the primary sysadmin, but she wants someone who can
help out when she's away etc.) If you have people who are good at
computer science and also interested in some combination of cellular
biology and medicine, this is also a great opportunity with fun people.
Our own Martine Claremont is even there now.
I'll send you more specifics about Google shortly.
How are things going at Swat? I keep meaning to go down and
visit -- I'm sure I'll make it to the area one of these months.

-Dan
