		Decision Technology, Inc

We are developing a new product in partnership with a firm that
specializes in things like JAVA, .NET, C#, J2EE, XML, etc. Now it is
time for us to beef up our own client/server expertise and internal
support.

Initially, we want to bring on board someone who is bright and
articulate and understands the Microsoft Software operating environment
as well as the Client/Server world. We need someone who is
intellectually curious and, if asked to do something that he/she has
never done before, has the motivation and smarts to figure it out. This
person should have a recent college degree in Computer Science or
closely related field and a couple of years of working experience.

Ideally, we need someone who can do any or all of the following types of
tasks:

    * Maintain and enhance our Windows 2000 Server
    * Be able to make changes to Active Directory and understand how
      that whole picture hangs together
    * Install a new Windows 2003 Server and copy our existing
      environment to it
    * Can order and configure new PCs for company personnel
    * Knows the difference between routers, switches, and hubs
    * Maybe has set up a wireless network;
    * Knows what a firewall is and how to configure one
    * Would be capable of administering our email server
    * Would be capable of administering our web site
    * Knows what most of the following acronyms stand for: TCP/IP, FTP,
      HTTP, HTML, XML, URL, DNS, DHCP, MSDN, VPN
    * Understands Microsoft Visual Studio
    * Understands Microsoft Source Safe
          o Able to set up a new project on Source Safe
          o Able to automate the "build" of various Source Safe managed
            projects
    * Understands Install Shield and can create "installs" for our
      various software products.
    * Can create an install that can handle multiple platforms (ex: Unix
      and Microsoft)
    * Has some experience with any or all of Linux, Unix, AIX, I-Series,
      J2EE environments (TomCat, JBoss, WebSphere) SQLServer, UDB,
      Oracle, HSQL, LDAP
    * Has a working knowledge of JAVA and C#, can maintain existing code
      and participate in new product development
    * Able to assist our clients install our Server and Client products
      in their environment
    * Can provide telephone, web-based, and on-site support

In other words, we really need someone that can take on a whole range
of client/server type responsibilities as well as support our own
company infrastructure.
